Testimony Night with our DTS

DTS talks about their experience in South Africa
A few days ago our DTS came back from their outreach in South Africa.
Last Saturday they had the chance to share what they have experienced with God during that time at a youth service at the Elim Church.
With their testimonies they encouraged the young people to fully live with God here and now - for he does not only do miracles in South Africa.
Jason told how God brought him to this DTS. This alone is an exciting story, for he initially wanted to study at the university. He saw how God provided all the money for DTS for him.
He also told the story of a man getting healed of parasites after the group prayed for him. God is still doing miracles!
The DTS went to Africa to bless the people there and to tell them about Jesus. Nikita told about her experience: while giving she was given so much more back. Sometimes she felt like she has nothing to give. However the a woman in Jeppestown said to her that she were praying for missionaries very long time and that she and her team were truly an answer to their prayers.
Torsten, who is more a bit of a reserved guy and does not walk up to a stranger so easily, saw how God answered his prayers. Even before they were heading off to Africa he was praying that God will send people to him, that they will do the first step. That is exactly what happened! People waved him over to talk to him. God made the first step step towards him, now it was to Torsten to do his part and tell people about Jesus. Seeing that God approaches him was a awesome experience for him.
These are a few of many many stories our team could tell. But the message came through: God lives and acts - not only in Africa!

50/20 Project
30.01.2012
We are looking for partners.
Nothing is for free - a YWAM base also needs money to pay costs like rent, power or heating.
We spend 2,500€ a month for rent, power and heating.
A part of that we can pay from the rent of our staff living at the base.
But because many staff moved on to other things or got married, the income through rent decreased extremely.
Right now we get monthly:
- 572€ support through donations
- 400€€ rent
Now we are looking for partners who would like to become a part of our work and support us to cover the remaining 1,528€.
Our goal is to find 50 people who support us with 20-50€ a month.
With that we could cover most of our monthly costs.
Right now we have already 12 people, so there are 38 left.
Become a part of us.
